Although he has received numerous regional, national and international honors, the Kentucky-born artist remains faithful to his grass roots principles as evidenced in his diverse and illuminating subjects of contemporary life. His representative portfolios of the individual states of the southeast region of America have received wide acclaim and notable attention in museums and public art galleries.

Soft-spoken and introspective, Robinson carefully composes a concept to convey the definitive statement of each unique place to which he responds. His range of technique, marriage of materials to the concept and the resulting composite portfolio are impressive. He has painted more than a hundred murals throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky in schools, museums and private establishments. In addition to his thought-provoking sculptures, Robinson has embarked on a series of "Biblical Truths" which depict spiritual themes relating to God's Living Word.

Ever willing to share his enthusiasm for art, Robinson has taught art since the second grade when he was invited to other classes to demonstrate his approach and passion of expression. He has since completed a dozen years as Resident Artist for the Kentucky Arts Council, instructed at Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Middle and Owensboro High Schools and continues to accept invitations to demonstrate and judge exhibits. He is featured in numerous news and art publications including American Artist. His works also have been highlighted in film for the Kentucky Education Network, the Public Broadcasting System and local public access channels.

Robinson currently maintains a studio/farm in a small, rural community in east Daviess County, Kentucky.
